A rare moment of eloquence in the Dail. Ruairi Quinn is a man that should get another chance to tackle a serious government portfolio. Time should probably see such an eventuality occur.

I want to express my absolute thanks to Rory Quinn for his fantastic speech that evening at the Dáil. He delivered a surplus state to the current administration which they squandered. He is a fantastic orator and an inspiration to those who have lost their faith in government. A true politician OF the people FOR the people.

The only thing that would make me consider voting Labour is if they took a clear pro-secular position. The constitution needs to be re-written to provide real equality for all citizens. Remove religious qualifications from the constitution.
