If We Kiss... A Jonas Brothers Story. Chapter 27

Nick’s POV. “Well call again!” I yell desperately. Joe shakes his head. “This can’t be happening…” Joe mumbles. I close my eyes as Joe dials again. “Same Nick… I’m sorry…” Joe says. I shake my head angrily. “I can’t believe this!” I yell. Joe looks at his watch. “We have to go down… Mom and dad are expecting us down there now…” Joe tells me. I sigh. “I know, let’s go…” I suggest. Joe nods and we walk out of the room. Summer’s POV. I run out of my room and into the bathroom. I slam the door closed behind me and lock the door. I start sobbing. I know I’m being over dramatic, but I don’t care. It was Joe and Nick freaking Jonas on the phone! And we got disconnected! What the hell?! I cry harder when someone knocks on the door. Brooke, of course. “Summer, sweetie… Come out here,” she says in a soothing tone. It makes me feel a little bit better. I open the door for her and wipe my eyes. “Sorry I’m being such a baby…” I tell her through my tears. Brooke laughs softly. “That’s okay… I’m crying on the inside,” Brooke semi-jokes. I smile. “Thanks…” I tell her. Brooke sighs. “Let’s go back downstairs… Have something to drink… I think I spotted some Pina Colada mix in the drawer downstairs,” I suggest. Brooke gets a dreamy look on her face. “Hell yes!” she yells and gets up quickly. I blink and she’s gone. I laugh. Brooke is addicted to Virgin Pina Colada’s. So am I, just to put that out there… I trot down the stairs and see Brooke going through all the possible places that the mix could be. I laugh. “Over here crazy…” I tell her with a bubbly voice. Brooke grins and quickly snatches the mix from my hand. I roll my eyes playfully and start putting all the ingredients in the mixer. A couple of minutes later, Brooke and I are sitting outside on the terrace with our frozen drinks. Pure bliss… I lean my head back and let my mind wander. I take a sip of my Pina Colada. What if the pineapple decided that it didn’t want to be mixed with a coconut? Would they change the ingredients? But what if no other fruit would want to be with the coconut? Because it has a hairy outside? Would every coconut have to shave to be able to have fruity friends? Would it have to live alone for the rest of its life? Or would everyone just get over themselves and accept the coconut for who he is? Hair and all… Poor coconut. Life isn’t easy when you’re a round fruit with hair. I can’t believe the pineapple would treat poor Coco like that! It’s not like it chose to be like that! Did it?! NO! What the HELL am I thinking about? I shake my head and take another sip of my drink. I let the cool, delicious liquid slide down my throat. “Penny for your thoughts?” Brooke asks me absentmindedly while staring into space. I chuckle. “I was thinking about if pineapples wouldn’t like coconuts anymore. Would any fruit? Would the coconut have to live alone because he’s hairy on the outside?” I ramble. Brooke laughs. “You have crazy ass thoughts Summer!” Brooke giggles. “Tell me about it,” I joke. “What are, or were, you thinking about?” I ask her back. “Joe…” Brooke says with a small smile. I smile back. “Of course. Stupid question…” I say with humor in my tone. “I have an idea!” I yell suddenly. This causes Brooke to jump, pouring the rest of her drink over herself. “Cool! Now my black pants are white,” she says sarcastically. “I don’t care! And FYI, they’re my pants. But guess what?!” I yell happily. I get up quickly and start doing a victory dance. “What?” Brooke asks, half annoyed and half curious. “I know how we can see the Jonas Brothers again!” I shriek happily. Brooke looks at me in disbelief. “And how are we going to do that?” Brooke asks me, more interested now. “We’re going to crash the concert…” -------------------

Just about the BEST DRINK EVER!

It's basically a frozen drink with coconut and pineapple *i think that's all* but that's the virgin kind. The real ones have like, rum i think :)
