  • Why are your reverse lights on?

  • Because I had it in reverse when I took the video :)

  • Do those high flow cats keep your obdII or "check engine light" from coming on.

  • Nope, the CEL came on 10 minutes after the install. Had the tuner turn em off and they have been off since. I have no regrets. It sounds awesome!

    Cheers.

  • How are you coping with the DRONE? Is it as bad as everybody makes it out to be?

  • What drone? Seriously, it doesn't sound bad at all. It drones some on the highway in 6th gear at about 1700-2k (about 65 mph). I just drop it to 5th when I am in the region or speed up and stay in 6th. I wouldn't change it for anything.

  • @isuav8r234 LOL! Yeah, OK!

  • @acevedor2 So you had your foot on the clutch the whole time while you revved the engine while the car was in reverse gear? That can't be good. Why not do it in neutral?

  • @rider9195 I park mine in reverse, but actually that's not necessary for every year to prevent the dreaded battery drain issue you speak of. Only the 2005 manual trans models need to be parked in reverse. GM has since fixed the problem in 2006+ model years, though people still have had battery issues with these cars in recent years but that's for different reasons; mostly not driving regularly, a defective alternator, or just a bad battery to begin with, etc.

  • @SweetBlueZ51 The C6 has a safety feature that requires you to be in reverse to start.

  • @SweetBlueZ51 also when you park a corvette the newer models you have to leave it in reverse or else the battery will run down. kinda weird feature.

  • Depends which one, a simple air intake (like the one I have in my Vette) you might expect 10-15HP, but if you get a true CAI (Cold Air Induction) setup like a VaraRam or Vortex Rammer, they claim it can be MUCH higher in cold air and at high speeds (hence, the "Ram Air" effect).

  • yeah ull get ponies from it. nothing crazy but its a good alternatvie to no cats
