Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Playthrough Part 79: Samus vs Dark Samus: Clash of the Phazon titans

That's it; we have all of our equipment and can finally take on Dark Samus. She is a tough boss, especially on Hyper Mode difficulty. Her attacks include the Phazon shrapnel burst, an odd Phazon variant of the screw attack, creating "Dark Echoes" of herself, rushing you at high speeds, and regaining her health by using Phaaze as an energy source. She also uses the abilities of the other Hunters you fought earlier, including Rundas' power to create Phazon pillars, and Gandrayda's power to throw orbs of Phazon at you. She is difficult to defeat, but can be brought down with enough patience.

@finn9706 The Screw Attack doesn't help too much, given that the Dark Samus trio is in constant movement. The best strategy is to Space Jump along the edge of the arena, firing Hyper Missiles to the ground. This helps to empty your Phazon bar and deals significant damage to Dark Samus as well.

@finn9706 Yes. When you are on Phaaze, this yellow Phazon Bar fills up. If it fills up completely, you go into a state of permanent Corruption and die, transforming into another Dark Samus and you can guess that it's game over at that point..

Damn, this was 5 days ago? Wish my internet was up at that time. Anyway, the logic in your insult is greatly flawed.

1: I never said I was playing this on HyperMode, nor am I pretending to be doing so.

2: This is not even on Normal Mode, this was being played on Veteran Mode.

3: If I am such a noob, show me a video of you playing this boss on Veteran Mode.

Have a logical argument before trying to insult me, as I can easily make a comeback.
