Thus far, the only retort to Fitna I've seen is "the verses were taken out of context". Fair enough, however scribbles on paper are inanimate. It's the PEOPLE interpreting it that are the subject of the movie and should be held accountable. Why is it I haven't seen any purported muslims denouncing the acts in the film, only the context of the quranic verses? Kinda makes you wonder...

Islam is defined by its moral teachings and values, and not by those who claim to be Muslims yet perform the exact opposite of what Islam asks for. The point being in this short clip is to show that there is no relation between Islam and between what these criminals are performing, and accordingly, it will be wrong to accuse Islam of the crimes that these individuals are commiting.

The true Muslims have always condemned these acts, and remain doing so.

That's a red herring. For starters, I don't believe Israel is a terrorist country. More importantly, what does controversial protest over military action have to do with members of a religion loudly and publicly distancing themselves from insane fringe members? Last time I checked, I didn't see a Fatwa goin' out declaring jihad against the muslims who, as you put it, are guilty of deeds that go against their own religion. Maybe it's semantics, but I smell some hypocrisy.

Well sometimes words aren't so powerful. Look at the millions of people who walked the streets of London CONDEMNING the attacks on Gaza. Did this solve anything? Nope, the killing went on. Words just fall on deaf ears in this world.

Understand that I would never condone punishing one person for the behavior of another. Thing is, you can't just ignore a problem and say, "that's not me". I'm sure the muslim communities have condemned this type of behavior, but that message isn't getting through.

Well take this answer from a muslim. You should be able to be intelligent enough not to hold anyone accountable for actions that they did not commit. Western law systems have this simple concept too. If a murderer is found guilty, would you sentence someone else to pay for his/her crimes?

The Qurán states: ''No carrier of burdens shall carry the burdens of another''

Everyone will be held accountable for their deeds.

NOW THAT THIS MAKE SENSE THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE WHERE VERY AFRAID TO MUSLIMS, THEY RUTHER LOST THEIR FREEDOM NOT THEIR LIves.

PEOPLE NEEDS TO REVOLT AGAINST ISLAM TEACHING AND SO MAY GOD HELP US!

First of all lets honor those innocent men and women sacrifice themselves by getting their head chop off and shot in the name of Islamic teaching while we watch tv during dinner time,they are martyrs. May god admit these martyrs soles in heaven and watch over their families.
