In May 2009 GALLERY CRAWL headed over to Mills College Art Museum in Oakland to interview five graduate students about their thesis exhibitions, which were inspired by a wide range of subjects including California coastal culture, facial hair, long-lost correspondence, and escapism. The graduate students' collective exhibition is titled YOUNG AMERICANS.
