Children at Shishu Tori street children's project, Bangladesh

The Shishu Tori Sangstha project in Dhaka, Bangladesh provides food, clothes, shelter, healthcare, basic education and activities for some of the city's 200,000 street children. Volunteers work on the Schools Under the Sky programme, helping to teach basic literacy and numeracy, and organise recreational activities in the three informal open-air schools which are held in a railway station, a vegetable market and a park in Dhaka.
