  • I like the tricks and all, but it still makes sound when he's throwing that banjer in the air....how is that possible?

  • @Rev1981 He is "strumming" with his left hand on the neck of the banjo as it spins -- Uncle Dave Macon was the first (I believe)!

  • theres a video of Cordell Kemp (Leroys idol) on youtube interviewed by David Holt where he shows you those techniques spins and pull-offs etc. thats where i figured it all out.

  • @Rev1981 I think he is plucking with his fretting hand to keep the beat going. God knows how he does it when he goes 360 !

  • @dwellman13 Thats what they call him , "The Tennesee Slicker"

  • thats slicker then snot on a doornob

  • Only 23 likes? Even if you don't like Bluegrass, you've got to like the entertainment value. He was cool and very entertaining.

  • that's pritty sly

  • Leroy Troy is the one banjo player that brings the good stuff from the very start of the grand ole opry and country music
