  • You will not get pure FeCl2 from electrolosis with sodium chloride, And the yield is small. If you wish to make FeCl2 or FeCl3 use hydrochloric acid insted of chloride compounds. Its not like its hard to get ahold of, 10 USD will get you two gallons of 35% HCI at homedepot.
