  • hi, great instructions! I just finished changing the water pump in my 95 Jimmy but now it won't start. It's turning over great but either no gas or no fire. I think I might have pinched that wire on the left- could that be the problem? Thanks

  • @HSpikeJ If you pinched wires, (possibly going to the crankshaft position sensor) you need to fix that first. It will probably leak there anyway.

  • so over all how long did it take, after editing down the video.

  • @linkmand I really don't remember. I do know that when I make a video while working on a vehicle it can take twice as long, or more, than without making a video.

  • Why black rtv sealant and not blue?

  • I replaced my water pump on my '95 S10 ast year at 115,000 miles. Never had a problem, however, I did replace all the hoses and timing chain. Runs like a top!

  • Did you use a reverse spinning water pump since it's a serpentine belt system?

  • did u have to extend anything but the fan shroued when u did the bodey lift
