Canon FS100 Flash Memory Camcorder

ways around the fullscreen compression (see my last comment for what I'm talking about)

1: convert files into mpeg2

2: use "force 16/9 aspect ratio" inside the program 'sdcopy" (not included with the camera, downloadable online)

3: use imovie's direct import (open imovie and then setup usb connection with the camera and your computer and your files should be instantly imported and it won't mess with the aspect ratio)

DIGITAL ZOOM SUCKS

you forgot about the compression and codec issue (when you import your video files into your computer it is compressed into fullscreen even if you recorded in wide screen, my next comment will explain ways around this)

the easy button is stupid, it takes away control of the light and effects (just set the focus and exposure to manual and you'll be fine)

HELP! Something happened with my camera (this one) and when I turn it on it's a black screen but I can sort of see shadows of what it should be showing me. It still records sound and such but no image. Does any one have any ideas?
