She would've had to have thrown buckets of water on the floor & left it for it to do damage. I would imagine things like termites would've done more damage then her washing the floor would've.

@easlesonavon Country people still pluck feathers of animals or turkeys before they cook it.It is still a customs in little villages in countryside.
