For most of us, a day at the office is never accompanied by media interviews and roaring crowds. For Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, though, this is just a routine part of his job.

In the spring of 2008, with the Lakers set to face off against the San Antonio Spurs in a late-season game with major playoff implications, legendary filmmaker and conspicuous sports fan Spike Lee took the opportunity to show what its like for a top athlete like Kobe to go to work.

With unprecedented access, Lee follows him from his arrival at the Staples Center through team meetings and pregame warm-ups, during the game itself, and at the end of his day as he, his wife, and his kids get in the car to drive home.

  • Lamar Odom = Toni Kukoc 2.0

  • @Telakisu Even some of Jordan's own teammates (e.g. Horace Grant) said he put his own shot above the team. And besides that the bulls did just fine without him after the first retirement, winning only 2 less games than they did the previous season. Guess they didn't really need him to "coach" the team. There's a reason Jordan has 10 scoring titles, quite simply, he's the biggest ballhog in the history of the game.

  • @devestatorful eat shit and live...that way you'll have to taste it

  • @drlove1972 jordan was a great team player

  • @drlove1972 ur a dumbass

  • its funny how he says he knows fisher loves that corner, fisher just made that dagger tonight against the Mavs

  • True, I really feel sorry for Lamar. Not that he is getting paid, but being traded from the club you had a lot of success for nothing, man that's cold.

  • @modernway91 except Toni Kukoc didn't get traded away for nothing

  • @saiyahog840 Yea thanks, and you sound like a sycophantic, hero worshiping, ball hugging, ass kissing apologist fanboy

  • @drlove1972 Yeah that's right, condemn Jordan for not getting the Bulls into the finals during his first season back from an 18 month retirement, one that he only played 17 games in. You sound like a moron.
