  • Thank you James Cawley.

  • Someone has produced this, at last! What a tribute to David Gerrold! Liked the addition of Next Generation's Tasha Yar's granma, too... Sad that Alex had to die, but guess there was no other way to lend validity to captain Kirk's spiel about the senselessness of revenge.

On the other hand, Alex and Peter's relationship is portrayed beautifully. No regrets there, except on thinking what a difference this episode might have made if aired on TV. Sigh!

As for the acting... Hmmmm... But improving.

  • @Thud300 I second that. :)

  • having now watched the entire episode, and being one of those fortunate to be an original trekkie, i'll say well done, i of course am partial to the Klingons, and while i detected a flaw or two,all in all still a well done. It would have been nice to have Spock possibly make a comment about being insulted with the remark about human soul,...kudos gang for keeping the spirit alive..Q'plaa

  • oh geez i would give this like a 100 rating out of 10, it is completely fan made not something extremely hollywood or w.e. but it's amazing i love it

  • quit saying godspeed

  • i admit the acting wasn't the greatest omg, did it ever have me crying. When Alex died and Peters break at the end, so heart wrenching.

  • This was not that great.

The previous: "World Enough & Time" with George Takei was as good as any of the old series shows.

    Maybe better.

But they will be better shows coming up.

I love that we can get this stuff.

    Long live "Phase 2"

Which we should've had in 1977 instead of STTMP.

  • Firstly as non pro actors go the best ones who have the weight in a sense to carry off their roles is Chekhov, Spock, their Scotty tries way too hard as does their Kirk... Their Maccoy is wooden but at least tries not to over compensate. Uhura is way to southern in her accent and too young in her behavior to be an Uhura but at least she doesn't try to over act.

not bad as fan vids go gets a 3.5 out of 5

would have helped if we knew more about Jena Yar?

  • I liked it, even if the acting was poor--just like the original star trek!

...and how many more times is that lady going to go on star trek to die?

  • Utterly superb, though I kept hoping for somehow a manifestation of Alex to materialize and give Peter some last message like "I'll always be with you" and then fade away into the viewscreen, something like when Kes left Voyager. I never saw Sulu all the way through, though Peter joked about thinking it was Mr. Sulu on top of him--where was he??

  • This was very well done. Having only recently lost a lover to AIDS, this really touched me. Almost embarrassing to admit, but I broke down when Alex died, but I sort of saw it coming. I was hoping for a happy ending, but we can't all get what we want.
