The part where you said "God is like big brother". God would be angry if his generals (the Prophets) did not repent. Most of the time, its by accident, and they dont want to sin. God is forgiving. I recalled a story where King David killed someone, and God told him, "if he (the dead person) forgives you, then you can go to heaven". So, God doesn't allow his generals to get away with sins without repent. God treats us equally.

One thing that cannot be debunked, a thorn in the side of Christianity, is the sheer number of variations on the faith. *Which* Christianity is correct? *Which* Bible translation is correct? Of the hundreds of contradictions in the Bible, *which* interpretation is correct? I have Christian friends who argue with each other, each claiming the other does not truly understand the faith.

It's all ridiculous, really. For the same reasons they all reject Islam, I reject Christianity.

I'm familiar with that last verse and it is exactly as you explained it! The woman...or young girl, is released "only" if the man (god's warrior) is not pleased with her. and I might add, there's no mention by the apologists that the captive women, or young girls, are no longer virtuous, as the Hebrew victor has taken the one and most valuable thing she had. Why does gawd see that as acceptable?

I seem to recall that the passage about not selling your raped prisoner of war is very similar to the passages on not selling your female slaves after you've had sex with them, and that there is a general principle in old testament law that a sexually enslaved woman may not be resold once her virginity is taken. If you dig that out, it should provide some context.

The unfortunate reality of Apologetics is that it absolutely dependent on dishonesty & deception. You demonstrate this very effectively in your videos.

What's disturbing about apologetics concerning the OT Yahweh, is the extreme they'll go to in attempting to make a Psychopath transform into a loving savior!

The interesting thing is that it doesn't take any hard work to see this, just an honest study of the subject!
