@KleWdSide i will back you up squire. he is not my cuppa at all, but hes damn good at what he does. (dont like this though)

2 words. Bobby Fuller.

Fuller's good, the Clash are good, the Stray Cats are good, Springsteen's good. It's all good.
-
I saw the E Street Band perform this MANY years ago at the Meadowlands. Those were the days... :)

If anybody knows his rock n' roll history its Bruce. The Bobby Fuller Four had a hit with this in 1965 and its sound goes back to Buddy Holly. Bobby Fuller even came from Lubbock Texas and it was written by the Crickets. quite a pedigree.

Can't see the problem ..I am a massive Springsteen fan
I am also a massive fan of The Clash and ....wait for it SO IS BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN..he even done a rousing rendition of London Calling in tribute to Joe Strummer. I like all 3 versions all for different reasons.
-
@GravCatt it was written by Sonny Curtis and the Crickets
-
The Clash didn't even write "I Fought The Law."
-
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN HAS HIS OWN LAW no need to kick ass, unless Micheal O Leary is doing a callender
I can understand if Springsteen's not somebody's cup of tea, but to say he sucks makes someone sound quite ignorant. Have a nice day.. lol
