CGRundertow - SONIC SPINBALL for Sega Genesis Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sonic Spinball developed by Sega and Sonic Team for Sega Genesis. Sonic Spinball is a pinball simulator in which you control the spiky hero through the evil Dr. Robotnik's twisted pinball courses, complete with flippers, bumpers, and warp holes, as you search for the Chaos Emeralds. Compete against your friends for the highest score and bragging rights. Try the Crazy Box mode to improve your crazy skills such as drifting and dashing. @xJoeEDangerouslyx Nobody who has sat down and played through the Game Gear version without any preconceived notions would bash it--people just bash it because they assume it must be bad! However, since the level design is essentially identical, it's still an inferior version of a solid game.

Am I the only one who likes the Game Gear version? I've heard people bash it, but I liked it. I also think it should be re-released and remade for the 3DS in a collection. I liked the Pokemon pinball game too, and that had motion control if I remember correctly. That would be a cool option here. This game would be so rad if remade today.
