@Kuti210 Mars lost it's magnetic field once internal magma activity ceased and the sun's radiation did the rest :(

Great film and sound track but it just looks like Pixelisation to me friend. There’s isn’t any official facts as yet but I do believe there’s a strong case that a civilisation did exist on Mars at some point in the past. Google ‘MOC image M02-04304’, download and rotate by 180 degrees. In the centre towards the top is what looks like an old harbour with several hexagonal and dome shaped surrounding buildings. It’s in a region called Tithonium Chasma.

I don't doubt that Mars could be terraformed, in fact, I'm a strong believer that it will eventually be possible,

@Savagekiller0 I understand your, rather pseudo-intelectual answer to my reply... however, life on mars can be possible by an artificial algae atmosphere. Sounds crazy, i know... search about it.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the subject, but I think I remember the answer to your question. If memory serves, the current accepted theory is that the magnetosphere of Mars was somehow lost. Without the magnetosphere, the atmosphere from Mars was ejected into space, and therefore it would be impossible for life to persist on the surface.
Unfortunately my answer raises a much more curious question. I don't believe scientists know how or why the magnetosphere can vanish.

@Kuti210 There are, trust me

@3DSFuture If there was a civilization on mars... why there is no evidence of their existence? No structures, no fossils, no tools? And tell me, please, how dide mars "died" if that is somewhat possible?

@kyryako Now you are talking like a real religious preacher... facts are made of research, evidence and proof. If you cant show those three you are just another dreamer.
there is life on mars...at this very moment...it is an inevitable fact...we like it or not...and not on a far away galaxy...and those who pretend to see nothing are simply brainwashed sadly....on a very near future humanity will be united again and then, we will make contact without fear...do you know why? it's our destiny

The correct term is pixelation and if you twist brightrness and contrast it produces these kind of images-ever tried this with google earth on vast empty areas-same result it is software straining to interpret-I know there is very clear evidence of past civilization on mars but these particular images are not accurate nor properly interpreted-sorry!!!!
