@Maafa1619 I've changed my mind. raising the tune-o-matic a bit and using thicker gauge strings (which probably impart a bit more neck relief without touching the truss rod) did the trick. Since I want to be able to fret notes with my fingers too, I'm not shimming the nut. That would put the action in square-neck Dobro territory.

I not only raised my bridge, I'm going to shim the nut before all is said and done.
