I am a buyer.....I started working as an admin assistant to a buyer for a large corporation (with no previous buying or retail experience) I learned the ins and outs of the business and within 2 years became a buyer myself. MY best advice would be to get any job in the company you are interested in and work your way up.

I love that u posted this interview...I think it might help a lot of people that think they want to be fashion designers...Its usually the only option that their aware of...Your showing another side of the fashion industry that many people don't know about....KUDOS
