I finally got one on here in HD! This is a really cool video that I made using a camera car. It shows the USA trains Big Boy-the worlds largest and heaviest production g scale locomotive on the worlds largest g scale railroad. It shows the engines articulation and how it handles-very cool if you are in to this stuff. And yes the number plait is broken, so do complain- sorry Matt :)

  • Where is the railroad located?

  • @Pez1211 Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

  • I see you have the Locolinc stance

Have to bent right over to make it work

  • Not if you put them in right.

  • We can get 50-60 feet out of some of our engines. This engine just has 2 receivers because its motors draw to much power. We dont take chances with this engine, if one doesn't get the signal the other might pull too hard and smoke the other unit. Its happened twice so we get real close now.

  • Man you guys really got those tracks to look real; the way they are set in the ground, the color and everything. Are they just regular tracks? Cause I don't see much variation in track other than the type of metal; which BTW has the price gone up or what the cheapest i could find was 7 dollars a foot online if you bought it in 3 foot straight sections. That was for stainless. I heard stainless was "2-3" dollars a foot.

  • just cut a section to the length you need, bend it, and put it in place. All the rail on this railroad it brass. The track is set on a 4 inch thick minimum concrete base all the way around, The ballest we get from a quarry for free (its the fines that they don't want) and sifted to get it even finer. (not powder though) Then its all glued down by thinning out concrete glue about 1 part glue to 3 parts water depending on the temperature (won't work cold), then sprayed on with a pressure sprayer.
