All aluminum 427 tunnel port engine rebuilt at Survival Motorsports. Stroked to 468 inches, with 10.6:1 compression on pump gas. Solid roller - .670 lift, Petronix conversion on factory distributor. Heads, intake, and block are Dove reproduction pieces with modest port work and blending. Carbs in the first pull are factory Ford carbs from a 302(?) rated at 450 cfm each which made 571 horsepower. Second pull has a set of custom 750 carbs that made 602 horsepower. No other changes were made - the larger carbs made more power pretty much everywhere in the curve from 3000 to 6500.
