  • I recently test flew Flak Bait in Texas. The videos are on you tube. Look under Icemanjr92. All the videos were posted. Enjoy.

  • My Father was flight engineer or whatever they call the mechanic that flew on the B-26 Blackbird Squadron spy planes over No. Korea. Love some of the stories. This would be awesome painted as a Blackbird. What a ultracool "toy", Thanks

  • Jim "Boss" Farrell is my father. As logancody05 suggests, he was a great guy.

  • My father was the original Captain of Flak Bait and the one who named her. His name is still under the pilot's window. As logancody05 has stated, he was a great guy.

  • @MsCalann

    Our pleasure!

  • If you've ever visited the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. you'll find the real "Flak Bait" in the WWII section. You'll also find, painted below the cockpit, the name Jim "Boss" Farrell. He captained the airpane during the war. I was privileged to have flown as his co-pilot when we worked for the same company back in 1980. We just had a few trips together before he retired, but I treasure the memory of every one of them. He was a wonderful guy.

  • Let me know when you get flying videos...? I was there on Saturday and saw you run up engines. I told you about my Dad flying B26s in WWII. I'm building the Bates 106" with G38s.... T
