Positive Footprints - Amazonian Ecuador

It's been 20 years since the first Gap Adventures trip was run in the Amazon, when a special relationship was formed between community leader, Delphin and Bruce. A relationship that was not just the beginning of one the worlds largest adventure travel companies, but also the foundation for the shared vision of how travel, when managed responsibly, can support both community development as well as enlighten travellers to different way of life outside their own.

It's also the start of a new relationship, between two seasoned travellers, driving their commitment to sustainable community development through the Footprints Network and Planeterra.

Simon, seeing first hand how the Footprints Network, a group of like minded companies funding community development through micro donations made online, can make a positive impact to the local community.

2,070 travellers funding the building of a new school classroom, a much needed and community driven initiative to help support local education.
