An international court should start bringing the deniers to trial and executing them for their deliberate confusion of the serious issue of global warming, which is well-established fact, as mountains of peer-reviewed data attest.

If a tsunami were heading for the US and self-described "skeptics" attempted to confuse the public and deny the fact of the oncoming tsunami, leading to delay in evacuations, no one would question that these ppl were murderers. The same goes for GW deniers.

I see. So your answer to the mountains of scientific data in the peer-reviewed literature boils down to "it's too costly so it can't be true".

You are a brainwashed moron. And/or probably a paid shill.

To answer your accusation, I don't have "faith" in peer reviewed science, I know, empirically, that peer-reviewed science works, and your nonsense politics doesn't.

look im all for keeping sulfur dioxide and flourocarbons out of the air, but co2 is easily the most commonly used and emitted gas in any industry. its nontoxic, and accounts for.5% of our atmosphere. i and all the people i work with emitt at least 2,000 cfh of it everyday, resturant/gas station/bar drink dispensers are powered by it. the implications of cap and trade are much further reaching than just cars and coal plants.

Yes, CO2 is non-toxic and it is abundantly produced. It is also the principal gas responsible for anthropogenic global warming, which is a serious problem, with far ranging catastrophic costs to mankind, which logically necessitates reducing net CO2 emissions.

its not true, the consensus view just keeps the grant money flowing, if theres no problem theres no funding. that is one fact about the scientific community nobody can deny. theres never any good hearted save the world research that is this heavily funded. its all about the money changing hands.

You have GOT to be kidding me. Are you seriously DENSE? Do you know how much money there is in the fossil fuels and minerals industries?

Do you think when you submit a paper to a journal like nature they give your methodology and data a pass so that you can keep your funding? "That's okay...it's all bullshit, but *wink* *wink* you've got a mortgage to pay...we understand." Why do they do that, as a favor? Are they being paid off?

You're a credulous/brainwashed moron. THINK, you dumbfk!

"Pretentious". Pretentious of what exactly? Do you even know what the word pretentious means?

It's not an insult to call someone stupid and/or evil who is stupid and/or evil. It's a public service.
