Cheryl Hines Wins RoC® Gold Standard Award for Female Feature Director" at Hamptons Film Festival

Emmy-nominated actress and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines was awarded the RoC® Gold Standard Award for Female Feature Director by RoC® Skincare (one of the Johnson & Johnson Beauty brands) for her directorial debut, Serious Moonlight, at the 17th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival in East Hampton, NY.




Serious Moonlight is a tribute to the films screenwriter, the late filmmaker Adrienne Shelley, best known for her work on Waitress, who passed before her screenplay debuted. The film stars Meg Ryan, Timothy Hutton, Justin Long and Kristen Bell. It hits theaters December 4th.

The RoC® Skincare Gold Standard Award for Female Feature Director aims to recognize a talented female filmmaker whos excelled in the film industry, a field in which they are currently underrepresented, as only 7% of directors are women. Winner Cheryl Hines is a true inspiration for women everywhere striving to meet their own personal gold standards in excellence.
