Check out the cost and efficacy of standard medical care for various cancers, not the boilerplate from various mainstream sources. Years ago I met a fellow who had a natural practice in the US South. He told me many of his patients were family members of oncologists who refused to submit their family members with cancer to what they did for a living because of the pain, cost and ineffectiveness .

Agree with you that NHPs may work differently on individuals and that can they take alot longer to feel benefits on acute cases...not quick fixes. Sometimes the risk is worth the pot. benefits. I think that gov't should establish a fund for HC to test + record contraindications btw NHPs when taken with the most widely used drugs. So little is known here. Problems can begin b/c both treatments are rendered ineffective/there are side effects. Would love to C a full picture approach to health care.

Think about someone with cancer. Wont he want to believe whatever you try and sell him? A few seconds on the internet and I found a link. I cant paste for some reason so just search for cancernaturalcure.

What do you think should happen? Let this guy make some money until he kills a few people. Or act now, and ask him to prove it works to the govt? Btw, I can tell u hes raking in 100s of thousands if not millions every year. Good way to get rich if you dont have morals.

For your second part, all drugs have side effects, including NHPs. The question always is, is the risk worth the potential benefit? I agree though that NHPs have lesser side effects, just finding one that works as well can be difficult. Basically, what works in one way for someone, may not work the same way for someone else. We're all unique.

NHP companies do not force people to get off of their medication...Besides, it is the choice of the person what they want to do to their own bodies. Drugs are not the cure all either and that is a fact. IF Bill C-51 is to regulate Pharm. companies, why are they not speaking about the severity of it? Because they know, that drugs are killing and damaging people and they cannot argue with that. Journal American Medicine concluded that over 107,000 US deaths per year due to drugs as prescribed.

Having been to a HC meeting on Bill C-51, it was stated by David Lee (HC panel) and in the C-51 First Reading, that CODEX will be applied to Food in Canada, without consent of the Canadian people. NHPs are not considered a Food so they will not have the Food regs. of CODEX applied to them...

I took a look and its not used in Canada. Laws are created when people are caught doing something 'potentially dangerous' but 'completely legal'. Before the regulations for natural products, companies were claiming to have "MAGICAL" cures for all kinds of diseases, and telling people to stop taking their medications. They still do, but atleast the govt can help stop it now. In any case, Bill-C51 was desperately needed to regulate pharmaceutical companies, not NHPs. People were somehow misled.

Stupid? Investigate CODEX ALIMENTARIUS. It is not the government plotting away, but the bureaucrats who advise government. The lower down the chain, the more orders are followed without questioning policies.

How stupid are you guys to think that the government is working in cahoots with the pharmaceutical industry. Come on people, think for a sec. For that to happen every single Canadian (more than 20,000) would have to be paid off by the pharmaceutical industry. Think about it!!!

Shes passionate, but soooo misguided. The natural health product industry would not be regulated any different under the bill. Plus they actually petitioned in the past to be regulated as drugs rather than foods.
