This is the entire west and inbound length of Highway 107. Recorded on 22 November, 2009. Note the lack of westbound exits from the beginning to Exit 18 - it's very frustrating for people who would rather take the highway than the secondary parallel route, Trunk 7. It can also be dangerous; people making illegal u-turns to use eastbound exits are common.

You're absolutely right. If this highway linked with the 104 in Antigonish, it would bring a lot of prosperity with it. It would also be a faster way to get to Cape Breton. Right now the only way for people to get there quickly is to back-track and take the 102.

There are talks of extending the 107 to the 101 at the 118 junction. As great as that will be, extending eastward should be a higher priority.

  • I used to love driving on Highway 107 when I was living in Nova Scotia.

I wish they extended this highway to Sheet Harbour or even Antigonish (Trunk 7 terminus).

Expanding Highway 107 is an excellent way to build Eastern Shore's economy.

  • I miss that Highway

  • Nice video.

    Thx :-)
