#1 search for NM Monitor

#2 install Winamp

#3 start NM Monitor & click on "install Winamp plugin"

#4 start Winamp -> go to settings -> visualisation -> start MN Monitor Plugin

#5 switch to the MN Monitor applet on your G15. go to Winamp and Have FUN !

i have done this but for some reason its not really in tone. eg dosnt seem to be flashing at the same time as the song or is flashing just form tone or bass not both?? Does anyone know how make them flash at the same time. i used the winamp plugin wvs.?? thanks

As an addendum to this guy's remarks, you *can* do it with Win32API call to (or a *nix equiv), Hid_SetFeature() with some not too simple coding.

No you can't. All you can do with the key to turn the lights on/off is cycle through (Off, Bright, Brighter) With the plugin it can cycle back and forth.

You must have no idea what you're talking about. The keyboard is lit up with LEDs. It will not "wreck" the keyboard.

they are LEDs, they can handle it....

if u dont believe me then look at the flashing light on the front of your computer, that hard drive light, yeah that. thats an LED. and that flashes alot
