I've been battling the flying rats that befoul my spa. I finally found a high tech scarecrow that does the job and entertains at the same time! The sprinkler is the ScareCrow from Contech. You can find more info at contech-inc.com.

I would like to point out that letting ANY bird drink heavily chlorinated/treated water (like in a pool) is not exactly healthy for the bird. As for bird baths, if it is like my neighborhood there are plenty. He is just denying then the use of this ONE source.

It's a ScareCrow sprinkler from the company Contech. You can buy them from many garden stores and online at Amazon and eBay, for example. Hope this helps!

It's been a while since I've stopped by here to thank everyone for checking out my little video. So glad you find it entertaining! For those who are concerned for the birds' welfare, please rest assured that there are many, many, MANY pools, bird baths, puddles, sprinklers, and other sources of water in the immediate vicinity. I'm a bird lover and the birds are doing just fine.

The music is from Sound Ideas and is called "Gold, Silver, Bronze." I don't know of a place where it can be downloaded for free, but I found samples of it online. Hope that helps!
