Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, "Money and The Law of Attraction", reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.

For over 20 years, Esther has translated blocks of thought from "Non-Physical Source Energy" - which she also identifies as her "Inner Being" or "Soul" - and who refer to themselves in the plural as "Abraham" (no relation to the Biblical figure).

I'm just really curious who is Abraham? A sort of 'Casper the friendly ghost'? Or maybe "Caspers" because they refer to "we". Have Abraham ever live in this world? Do they ever want to come to the world become a human? Thanks for the video.

@thiery572 Abraham is Esther's translation of Infinite Non-Physical Source Energy - in other words, her Soul. Abraham refers to themselves in the plural to make the point that Source is not so much a singular thing as a multiplicity of consciousness, that is alive in this world and all the humans in it.

The whole channeling thing doesn't make a difference to me. When I was younger I would've written all of this off just due to channeling. I would be offended by the idea. However, it's just a structure for letting a deep connectedness with spirit flow. Her talking reminds me of Eckhart Tolle to some extent and reminds me of how he wrote his book, how he speaks at events, and how A Course in Miracles was created.

@BayviewFinch - Esther does not prefer to use the word "channeling" to describe what she does, since she feels that it implies things that are not true for her - for example, that she is in a trance and that Abraham is not part of her.

I am such at a deep understanding of how the universe operates. Im 18 years old and have discovered the Law of Attraction about a year and a half ago and my life has never been the same. I UNDERSTAND so much I cannot put it into words. By watching these videos I drifted in and out of, what you call, my vortex and I can honestly say Ive never been at a happier state for as long as that...ever. I was once a horrible basketball player.

Before my basketball season

I wrote on my whiteboard that I wanted to be the best basketball player on the team (with players obviously better than me) and before you know it, with hard work and dedication, i became the MVP.

It was through believing and that inner fire within myself to become that and it manifested.
