"At the Dairy Queen" is a documentary about how ice cream cones are made. The movie maker's father was an early pioneer in making the SAFE-T-CONE(r) brand of ice cream cones in Chicago, Illinois. This movie documents the production process for conventional "waffle cones" and for the later batter cones made using a high speed molding and baking process. The product is shown in use at a Dairy Queen outlet in suburban Chicago circa 1950 to the delight of the customers. The movie was shot in color with 16mm film. It does not feature an audio track but is self explanatory from the visuals and title cards.
