Ubuntu 11.04 - How to install the ATI driver

To find out what graphics card/chip you have, open a terminal and type: "lspci".

To install the .run file you have to right click the item and select properties.
Now go to the permissions tab and check "Allow executing file as program".
Now just double click the file and select "run in terminal".
Now wait for the file to be extracted and follow the on-screen instructions.

This also works for Nvidia cards/chips.

@00Elwe This means that something went wrong, try to remove the drivers by executing the installer again and choose the uninstall/remove option, try if this works :).

@ak47razr Yes this is compatible with the XFX HD6750 and I don't know about blender and yes, ATI is going to write better drivers :).

@samramg Did you try to download the drivers via the intel website? downloadcenter.intel.com
