Highlights: Penguins vs. Flyers: Game 2 2009 Playoffs

All I can say is wow! Amazing game! I'm so glad I went to watch on the large screen outside. The place went nuts. Overtime was so much fun! Note you may want to turn your volume down at the end...the crowd gets loud!

I give the Flyers credit: They came out harder and looked ready to play compared to game 1. Pens dominated the first several minutes but that's really the only time they were dominating. It was evenly matched or back and forth from that point on. This is the type of game I expect to see the rest of the way out...and that makes it fun.

I also want to say Fleury's save was SICK. That was just crazy. The one he let in in the 3rd period wasn't that great, but he more than made it up with that save! Could have been the series saving save!!!

Overtime. A few chances back and forth but not too much happening. Then the penalties. Flyers had a chance in OT on the PP and did nothing. I would have LOVED if the Pens scored shorthanded when Biron decided to go out to the blue line. He would have never heard the end of it...but the Flyers were undisciplined as usual. Pens get a 5-3 later and end it. Game! 2-0!

Guerin shows why we picked him up, for what again? Oh yeah, conditional pick (looking like a 3rd rounder). Brilliant move now, that's for sure.

LET'S GO PENS! Flyers would need to go 4 out of 5...

The Flyers know they were the better team. If they took that opportunity Carter had and converted it, we would never have had to deal with Brooks Orpik's instantly-induced vertigo (or flat-out dive). The Flyers CAN do it. It's just a matter of us playing our way and the refs calling the game fairly. The best hockey town in Pennsylvania deserves no less than a win for the Orange and Black.

The mind games you have to play to convince yourself the Flyers were better is funny.

You mentioned so many things that had to go just the right way for the Flyers for them to even win. Not all the breaks went the Pens way: They still won. That's the difference.

Well they wouldn't call that convenient penalty if no one broke Kunitz's stick tbqh. They don't CALL a convenient penalty, the Flyers COMMIT a convenient penalty. It's not like this was a shit call, breaking the stick deliberately is a penalty. If it was a ticky call I'd be more likely to agree with you.
