The quintessential atheist's "prayer" by Saint Francis (Crick), a genuine Yoan Saint. (See http://www.yoism.org/?q=node/99 for an exploration of atheism and rational religion (you can also download this video there). And see http://www.yoism.org/?q=node/34 for a definition of "saint" in Yoism.)

  • Francis Crick did not convert to any religion on his death-bed, nor did Darwin, nor did Voltaire, nor did Paine...All these lies are made up by the religious to give credit to themselves. But even if they did it would still prove nothing but the longing for a life to continue, that is never going to.

  • actually i got him mixed up with another famous atheist who did so, so its my mistake, i said that 4 moths ago

  • @shanefairhead But neither did their writings change anything in religion but enforce it as innocent Catholics who died in the French Revolution refused to give in to their perverted idiocracy. To you life may not go on but to us, it does and with God and Mary in heaven, we have people to hope and listen to us. I'm not sayin you don't (I mean, everyone has friends and family) but God AND Mary give usa bigger reason to live: through them we can save our families and everyone by making them good.

  • @grandmajoyce2 YOU FEEL HURT BY"ATHEISTS" BECAUSE they come across as"attacking"Jesus or God, I am not an atheist personally. I am very mystic & FOLLOWER OF JESUS (words&deeds) . TECHNICALLY ATHEISM DOESN'T EVEN EXIST !! "atheists" are people who feel that RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS are made and dictated by imperfect humans (and not GOD) always in anger with those who integrate a religion (made by imperfect humans) A FEW atheists LOVE GOD (as a SOUL)..but dislike the claims made by religions...

  • @allan3141 um ... you're missing the point - atheism is still non-belief - it's dishonest to promote a false dichotomy

non-"belief" in atheism - isn't possible - it's a double negative ... it would simply be belief of (insert whatever religious teaching here)

  • @sikok93453 Great so what is non-believe in Atheism called. I am serious here. What is that called?

  • What a brilliant man. To know our own tendencies and downfalls is the first step toward correcting and guarding against those tendencies and downfalls.

  • Atheists are great at distorting the beliefs of others. If a thinking person wanted to know the truth about Christianity, they'd most certainly ask an informed Christian, not an atheist. I find it hard to understand what purpose it serves them to knock other's beliefs, on which they are most certainly no authorities. Guess they have nothing better to do. Such emptiness! I'll pray for them.

  • @Txsray What exactly does that mean? If you mean a certain belief true or not, well that can be said for many things huh?

  • @shanefairhead Homochirality is the stake through the heart for evolution..life by time and chance impossible..biochemical chemistry has reached a dead end paradox!!!..and if u think simple chemicals could some how form life, u dont know real chemistry..u would rather believe in some unknown chemistry than an intelligence..this is why Miller failed to make life in a test tube and no building blocks were ever made or assembled..right and left handed amino acids together are toxic to life..

  • @AfterFauve001 not semantics at all. Atheism = non-belief. How hard is that to understand?
