These three matches, filmed yesterday with new camera set-up (another Samsung s1065), where a bit short and as there is no special match/competition this series I've decided to post not just the Semifinals BUT the Final too! I don't know if I've already mentioned but the rules changed this series - a competitor must be immobile on both sides to be considered 'out'.

2020 (7) v Bladerunner (8)
These two have met before, albeit only in a pre-series test match. Fan-favourite Bladerunner has seen off many a tough opponent so far this series, could this be the one to claim the crown it should've had in Series 1? Or will Dark horses 2020 give them a thorough twisting and perhaps one more OOTA?

Blade II (6) v Earthquaker
Battle of the overheard attacks - will the speedy axe of the much-experienced Blade II defeat the slow squash of Earthquaker's heavy hammer blows? Will that weak chassis once more let the 6th seed down? Only one way to find out...

? v ?
The final. Can't really spoil this one, but it is a good match. A new champion is found! Sorry about the wait this series, but I hope you enjoyed it.

  • Why was there no 3rd place match?

  • @Gavin17259 Usually I don't have time. But because there are so few robots in these competitions, I try to avoid unecasery meets to avoid repeat matches in later series.

  • seeds (i think)

    8)thunder

    7)reaper

    6)velocity

    5)whiplash

    4)earthquaker

    3)2020

    2)blade II

    1)bladerunner

  • @TheLethallego Hmm I think that's right, we'll soon see!

  • what blade runner needs to be even more successful is the ability to make the top of his body flip up like opening the top of a box so he can throw the enemies he's picked up into the hole easier

  • @TheNick856 Have you been spying on me?

  • We've seen many active weapons

    But from them, no applause,

    We've found a weapon-less Champion,

On Lego Robot Wars, *kiss*, g'd night!

    (crowd cheers)

  • This title is really cool. It's gradually gone from what would appear to be a bit of fun to an actual very cool series of videos. I really hope you continue to do them. And maybe, just maybe, if you aren't already, get into some actual robotics? I am sure you have considered it but for not much money you could build yourself what is known as a beetleweight... a 1.36kg robot. Bigger and badder than an antweight but small enough to be cheap and destructive. Check out "fightingrobots.co.uk"! :D

  • Having re-watched this series again, I think it's fair to say that both finalists deserved to get there. Bladerunner got there due to some fantastic driving and great style (in the use of it's design to win matches), while Blade II got there with displays of well controlled aggression and punishing attacks.

  • the one with the axe is having a tempertantrum

  • blue robot; i like doing donouts! *falls into whole*

green robot: la la la ahhhhhh where did that come from??!

    lol sweet

  • @ochayedonald are you making it a flipper
