Habib Al Redha Awards Ceremony for Media Innovation.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology attended the Habib Al Redha Awards ceremony for Media Innovation which took place at Dubai Men's College. The award is an initiative of the family of the late Habib Al Redha, a pioneer in the field of Media. It recognizes final year students majoring in media and mass communication at colleges and universities in the UAE. The ceremony included family members of the late Habib Al Redha, Media representatives, educators and students from across the UAE.

The award is an annual competition organized by The Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE University and Zayed University. His Excellency distributed the awards to the winners of 24 projects from 8 categories as well as the distribution of certificates of appreciation to participants in the category of broadcast journalism. The categories are as follows:
