I walked from Valdez to nearly the top of thompson pass...was hitch hiking to copper center...not many cars on a week day in the summer of 83!!!!! Smoking joints, and enjoying the scenery...can't envision a more beautiful 35 miles to walk on Earth. Walked from 4am...to around midnight...crazy pretty if you walk it.
