This is the Central GTS/BKN epilogue and close down from 1992. This close down was broadcast on
Easter Sunday 1992. The movie following the close down was The Devil and Max Devlin (1981) made by Walt Disney. The epilogue is read by Whyalla Priest Jeff Noble, who tells the story of Jesus's death and rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. The Australia National Anthem plays, looking out over regional Broken Hill. Hope you enjoy this clip from TVNUTS01.
When is 1992?

Great to see some GTS/BKN material on YT. There needs to be more of a once great independent station.
Thanks for uploading.

Hello TV Nut!
Yes, this station is called Southern Cross GTS/BKN & is a Seven Network affiliate that sometimes broadcasts some Nine Network sport.
They also operate Southern Cross Ten in the same broadcast area...

'Come on everybody let's celebrate.'
Geez.... can't believe I remember the lyrics to the old promo song after all these years. After school viewing with Small Wonder at 3:30 and Ninja Turtles at 4. then switch over to the ABC .... ah to be 10 years old again.
Forgot they closed down for the night with the anthem.... all looks so official and proper lol
