  • would you please play it for us?

  • @OriGorilla — I will soon post a video of a more advanced guitar using these same concepts. The guitar seen in here was a starting point for the research I've been doing.

  • This is an utterly brilliant design and it's breathtakingly beautiful to boot. You're a luthier after my own heart. So good to see such talent and ambition is out there and being put to good use. I am very curious to see what you have in mind for strap position in relation to the guitar. With the neck at a high angle in the classical position it almost looks as though a strap button on the bottom bout would make perfect sense. I cannot wait to see more! Absolutely brilliant effort. Bravo!

  • u r on a good track

  • i have scoliosis s curve, i really need one of these babies!

  • what about the sound or acoustics of the guitar all the sound will come almost only from the neck

  • this guitar makes every other guitar seem old fashioned. this is the future of musical instruments, building them to suit the body rather than a separate irrelevant shape. genius.

  • I'm hoping you're considering applying the same kind of ideas with fanned frets and the fine tuning system you devised? I think that would be very, very useful. I especially like how you're approaching the guitar's neck/body connection: as if it were a single, fully-contacting piece of wood. Really nice. Keep up the good work!

On the side, though, if I may ask, for this particular order, about how much did you ask to design build it? What kind of measurements went into designing the body?

  • I would love to play one of these. It looks so comfy, like playing a pillow. Have you contacted BGM (Bass Guitar Magazine) at all? They might be interested in doing a review of this if you send them one.

  • wonderful. this is the true essence of guitar design. i've played for 18 years. 8 years ago i had to start seeing a chiropractor to treat my twisted hips and lower back, and over-tight shoulders. now i'm stabilized but still have to go twice a week for maintenance to undo what i keep tweaking.

i started building my own about 5 years ago in an attempt to approximate the benefits of the ergo-axes i could never afford, but in all my research into the subject i've never seen anything like this!!!
