20-25 feet is not for tow in, its for paddling.

@SirBrettly My bad :O but Hugo, Gabriel, and many others slammed hatters but i never saw any footage on some of those. you should check out pump house vids on u tube and footage of monster hole, these are Florida spots also nsb during bill has some good stuff with size. but, as always its really hard to judge wave height on video then in real life. One guy did say it's the biggest he ever seen on east coast but im at 38 yrs old. It does look like a very mean ocean though lol prey for surf :)

I am from folly beach sc, surf the washout. Earl was the biggest swell i have surfed here to date but this is epic big, too bad it was so chopy. Never been to the OBX but hopfully i'll makee it up there one of these days. Keep it real dudes.

I actually surfed the 1991 swell :O but anyways surfed 2nd light with 4 people 45 min paddle to the outside, and it was about 50 times better then what you got up on here and it was perfect 17ft easy... this is definitely no comparison hurricane bill here maybe 3/4 the size but current was to fast north moving.. I rode my 6'2" board Florida style on h-ween swell of 91" super late drops had too no choice, man paddled.. so nope not even close to Halloween swell sorry .
