What POSSIBLE difference does the brand of the truck cab make in tractor pulling. You could put a Volkswagen cab on it and it would still pull the same.

Love how every one knows more than the one before.....paccar is jus the finance company....kw an Pete 2 completely diff companies.....both are practically same truck when u compare running gear....but still 2 diff manufactures.....my preference is the 379 with a 475 cat....that's what I'm driving right now....an there ain't many trucks on the road can't out pull me....but u can take a w900 put same motor tranny an gears in it an walla same truck lol

@JohnDeereA219 uh ever since pete switched to the 389 it shares the same frame with the w900, they both offer cat detroit and cummins engines both use eaton fuller trannys both have dana or rockwell axels and hendrickson suspension. the only difference is the cabs, and that is driver prefrence. and dont act like i dont drive one and dont know, ive driven everything from a brockway 361 to a 386 pete ive even driven a diamond reo dc 101 so shut up jhon dere boy

Take a Pete & KW same year same motor same tranny same rear end, their gonna run the same! so when it comes to what is better it's all about preference! Kw's & Petes are (in my opinion) the nicest trucks on the road hands down. I don't really think u can say either way which is better as far as quality goes...I personally think petes are more comfy...Kw's feel like ur sitting 20ft in the air. So what u like is what u like but mechanically i don't think u can say which is better

no they're just under the paccar name, look at a w900 and a 379 and you'll see that the hame paccar is the only thing in common

I see - if you can't beat a guy, he must be cheating. Your not gonna catch up by trying to spread lies on YouTube. I suggest beginning by swapping out your cat for a KT. The man said himself...go look for those power/performance adders yourself at any pull. That truck runs because that engine is done RIGHT. A man running a KT thats built right doesn't need to cheat to win.
