@mr2shadow True however the genes giving to Solid Snake were the 'recessive/weaker' genes of Big Boss as his dominant 'Soldier Genes' were inherited by Liquid, what Hideo Kojima tried to portray in MGS 1 was that a person's genes never limit their potential which is why Solid Snake was capable of beating both Big Boss and Liquid, he exceeded the boundaries his inferior genes supposedly imposed.

@marcusbenhurr Dude he mentions that he got the recessive genes right before you fight Metal Gear Rex in MGS1

I want this picture of that video as a desktop background... it is just overwhelming

@GuestOfGregoryHouse BigBoss also choosed him even if in the end, Solid did it. Still I would have liked to see what Liquid could have done.

@GuestOfGregoryHouse lol yeah thought so too, but hey its a Snake everythings possible lol

@marcusbenhurr and i just realised that it was actually liquid who got the dominant genes. Not solid. But who always thought he had the recessive genes. Makes sense when you think back to the amount of times who should have died in MGS1 eg when the hind blew up, when rex was destroyed, when he fell from the top of rex and when his jeep crashed and he walked out unscathed

@marcusbenhurr hmmm you're right. Sorry i missed that. But still it seems a little unnatural for someones hair to just change from brown to blonde by being in the sun alot
When we say a gene is dominant, we are only talking about its dominance in the body, not about its quality. Some shitty genes can be dominant and great ones can be recessive. E.g. = you may have a gene that makes you super strong that is recessive, wich means it has a tendency to disappear in the genetic lineage and you have a gene that makes your imunological system inoperable dominant, wich means that will last through out your genetic lineage. Dominance has nothing to do with quality.
