  • This video was shot by Mike Theiss....He shot the entire storm surge come into Gulfport and receeed over a 5 hour period. He is not using a stabilizer or anything, just skill in holding a camera steady.....

  • Is this actully you... because i saw this exact same clip on The Weather Channel

  • @pkonnoobs Yes this is me, I licensed the video to The Weather Channel

  • In these shots it is not 28 feet. It is about15 feet. This hotel is on a 12 foot hill. Its right on the beach but the highest point along the entire miss coastline. When it was a full 28 feet high the only shots i could get was out of my window while in the 5th floor.

  • Thanks ! Well with the 5 year Katrina anniversary coming up I suspect there will be a lot of shows being aired. I will have a new and improved Katrina video posted with less compression and longer scenes posted sometime on August 28-29th....

  • Yes, this clip was licensed for a CarFax commercial over the past few year. Although they ended the license 2 years ago so you should not see this video used in the CarFax commerical. If so, please let me know, Thanks !

  • That was depressing

  • jesus that is some scary shit

  • That dammage is unfixable!

  • I guess this is not really just really a hurricane... (well because the water is moving tsunami way) It is a hurri-nami!

  • I moved to Biloxi,MS last year,I still see the damage Katrina has left behind her destruction.

  • I only disliked and thumbed down this videos because there is nothing to like here, it's horrible and I feel so sorry for all the people that had to go through this. May God help all of you retain back what you lost and get back on your feet and stand even stronger than you did before. I mean that.

  • @imhoooks nope its Mike Theiss

  • one word.....DAMN!
