@evilgamers1 Thanks to those "exploding" controllers, Sony decided to ban a bunch of 3rd party controllers, this controller and all of it's variations (i.e. Gamestop brand, wired, and wireless) were among those controllers. I had a chat with Sony customer service and Sony does not have any plans on lifting said bans. The wired ones still make a good PC controller. I also have the Madcatz Wireless Thumbpad and I am unable to use it on the PS3. ;_;

@uberownageman the "exploded" PS3 controllers were fake chinese ones, not 3rd party north american, european PS3 controllers for all i know but if your controller is wired or wireless it should work
i hate this controller so much... i got it for about 3 weeks ago and the analog sticks were great but if i push it to the left... nico fuckin bellic walks forward ? LOL that shit sucks bad ass

Can anyone still connect this on their ps3? Sony blocked many 3rd party controllers due to an incident where they might explode. Just search it. I have two of these controllers. 1 wired and 1 wireless and I can't use them. But there were several models of these controllers. Mine for instance has a different USB dongle. It's longer and I can extend it so I can connect other USB devices next to it. This leads me to believe of the possibility that some of these controllers may still work.
