Another really oldie but goodie - done awhile ago (10 years?) with Godin ACS guitar & Roland GI-10 driving medieval instrument samples. Pics are of a vacation in Chester, Liverpool, and north Wales (I was living in England at the time circa 2004). You'll be able to catch three Beatles references (at least) in the pics. This tune was used in "The Tudors" series for a party scene, which made me remember I had recorded it 10 years ago! I believe the arrangement is by the great John Renbourn (and you can probably find him playing it properly here on youtube :-).

  • thanks, as I recall I just multitracked it "live" (i.e. not sequenced) so didn't edit anything, just kept playing the parts until I got it right. there's probably "ghost notes" /false triggers buried in the mix I'm sure!

I've been out of "midi guitar" for awhile. I just got a Roland GR-55 so I hope to get back into it.

  • Great job! I have a GI-10 that I still use everyday on my strat. This sounds pretty clean, trigger wise. Did you do much with editing after the fact?
