  • I remember seeing these Pam Am 747's at Sea-Tac Airport at around 1989-90. Do times fly by...isn't Iran Air the only airline left in the world now that still flies the old -100's as passenger jets? Most of these planes were built in like 1970-71

  • IRAN Air flies 747 SP

  • The great glory days of airline travel died with Pan Am.

  • I have done this myself with my videos when I fly. It requires a steady hand to tape take offs. I love the music too so original. You are great. You have to watch out though when you do this video they say video recording or any electronics might interfere with the airplane electronics. Kind of scary too.

  • The audio and video during take off was so perfect I almost fell myself like I was taking off too. Great job.

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing it with us. I cannot stop watching these videos. They bring back so many good memories. I love them. These videos have become precious over time. Those times will never come back. Pan Am Airlines was the best and we all miss it a lottttt in our family. We love you Pan Am. We love you. We love you.

  • Old memories to be cherished forever. Pan Am you are missed.

  • Great video! :D It's weird to think I was born 6 years later lol.

  • @wkaemena They fly still also one of the -100's

  • @Dimension150 Yeah I hear you man. It's so pathetic that instead of spacious aircraft like 747's, DC-10's, L-1011's, we get narrow bodied aircraft which are crowded and suck compared to those old graceful airliners.

  • Every year during the 1970s, my Grandparents flew to Honolulu on a Pan Am 747 from Seattle for their vacation. As kids, we used to see them off and welcome them home at the S gates. And I dreamed of the day I would be able to fly to Hawaii on such a big plane from SeaTac. That never happened.
