So I'm coming home the backway from Cleveland, Texas not Ohio. As I hit the Prairie, I turn onto Goat Road and I can see there's something in the road about 1/2 mile away. My first thought was a dear or a skiny horse, but as I got closer I realized it had a long neck. Then I thought a HUGE Heron, but then I realized it was an Emu walking down Goat Road. I knew nobody would believe me so I stopped, whipped out my camera and slowly approached it herding it down the road.

  • That is cool! A friend of mine used to own Emus during that 90s when the became popular. Fun animal to play with when domesticated. I don't know about one released in wild. :) Thanks!
