On a cold 7 December 2008 I filmed 156461 depart Skipton Platform 1 with SELRAP's special Charter Train heading for Colne. The Charter Train known as the "Christmas Shoppers Special Train" was running in connection with Boundary Mill Stores.
SELRAP aims to reopen the railway line from Skipton to Colne and this would be the first major rail reopening for 10 years. They already have the support of over 120 MP's and many other MEP's.
The groups homepage is http://www.selrap.org.uk/ and features useful information about the reopening of the line.
