i think Elizabeth McGovern is fine as Margurite(maybe not having a face as gorgeous as Jane Seymour) but she's a very good actress while the beautiful Seymour isn't great in acting to me, lol

I keep thinking about Blackadder and the Scarlet Pimple,Mrs. Miggins coffee shop full of dangerous Frenchies and suspicious looking sausages,Baldrick's scarlet veruca ("all the rage down our way!") le Compte de FrouFrou....and the whole hysterical bunch!

Elizabeth McGovern just doesn't have the sparkle necesary for the part of Margurite. I'm dissapointed.

The great thing is Elizabeth & Richard has more intense chemistry that the pairing of Anthony Andrews & Jane Seymour, the overrated actress. The only good she ever did was Solitaire in that James Bond movie & that was a long, long, long, long time ago.....
